Available to our guests to mingle, watch TV, read or make music. This room features original art by local artists Bruce John Wood, Joy Laking and others, and by Boyd Chubbs, Newfoundland.
This amazing room has
been restored and decorated in the Renaissance Revival style. The hand
blocked wall paper and ceiling treatment was designed for the room
by Bradbury & Bradbury Studio of California. Like most Victorian
parlors, it is reserved for weddings and high teas. The gold velvet
Victorian Settee is original to the house.
Our front foyer has
had a major restoration. Now decorated in William Morris inspired 'vine' wall paper, the new newel post, original was lost to the house,
features carvings by local artist Bruce John Wood.
Feel free to relax on our huge veranda, deck or in our big back yard.
The Carriage House
We are pleased to offer indoor parking in our “reproduction” carriage house for antique cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Advanced reservations required. On-site parking is provided to all our guests.
